Mr. Khalil Alawni has a Bachelor degree in the field of Science from Osmaina University in India, obtained in 1991. He got his Master’s degree in the field of Community and Public Heath from Birzeit University in 2009. He worked as a special education teacher for deaf students; Mr Alawni is also considered a legal and recognized deaf interpreter in Palestine, he worked as an interpreter for deaf persons for 20 years. Currently he is working at the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education in the position of the Head Division of Special Education Institutions, and he is an instructor of Sign Language at Birzeit University and at Women’s College .
