Mr. Ziad Amro

Activist in PWD in Palestine

Mr. Ziad Amro has a BA in Psychology and Education from Hebron University. In 1997 he obtained his MA in Social Work and Community Organization from San Francisco University. Mr. Ziad  has also a professional diploma in NGOs Management from Birzeit  University. In 2002, he represented Palestine at the United Nations negotiations for the PWDs rights Convention. Currently he is an activist in the rights of persons with disabilities, and a representative of Palestine in the International Council for the Education of Visually Impaired Persons. He is also a coordinator for the Higher Council for the affairs of PWDs in Palestine.
