In 1997&nbsp;he&nbsp;obtained his MA in Social Work and Community Organization from San Francisco University. Mr. Ziad &nbsp;has&nbsp;also a professional diploma in NGOs Management from&nbsp;Birzeit &nbsp;University. In 2002, he represented Palestine at the United Nations negotiations for the PWDs rights Convention. Currently he is&nbsp;an&nbsp;activist in the rights of persons with disabilities, and a representative of Palestine in the International Council for the Education of Visually Impaired Persons.
