Speakers:

Prof. Dr. Suliman Hawamdeh, Professor and Program Coordinator, University of Oklahoma, USA. Dr. Suliman Hawamdeh is a Professor and a program Director in University of Oklahoma. He is the author and editor of several books on knowledge management including Information and Knowledge Society and Knowledge Management: Cultivating the Knowledge Professionals. He is the editor of a book series on Innovation and Knowledge Management and the founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Information & Knowledge Management, one of the first refereed journals in knowledge management. Dr. Hawamdeh is the founding chair of the International Conference on Knowledge Management (www.ickm-2010.org) as well as the Knowledge and Project Management Symposium (www.kipanet.org). He is currently the president of the Knowledge and Information Professional Association (KIPA). He was also founding president of the Information and Knowledge Management (iKMS). He delivered several keynote speech presentations including the invited talk at the United Nations World Summit on Information Society held in Tunis in 2005.

Dr. Imad AL-Khatib, Secretary General, Palestine Academy for Science and Technology (PALAST). Dr. Imad is an associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the Palestine Polytechnic University. He is the Secretary General of Palestine Academy for Science and Technology (PALAST). He initiated and lead several projects in the ICT fields within the EU funding framework programs 5, 6 and 7, starting with the Euro-Med joint program “enhancing EMS in Industrial premises using Information Technology in 2003-2005, Promoting Mediterranean Information Society (MED-IST) in 2007-2009, and currently the establishment of the EU-MED ICT Research Network and a harmonized ICT Policy (Join-Med) which is funded By the EU FP7.
