Ayman received his Master’s of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University where he focused on Software Automated Design along with Haptics. Prior that Ayman received his Bachelor’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University with a minor in Computer Science and Management. He graduated with Distinctions, and received the Harry Pearce Award. Ayman is an Engineer at heart with a passion for shipping software, and at the same time a vocal advocate for innovation and technology. In his current role as Technology Evangelist at Microsoft Jordan, his main duty is to foster the innovation and creativity of developers in Jordan. This includes Startups, students, faculty, professional independent developers, and enterprises. Ayman started his career at Microsoft HQ in Redmond as a Software Development Engineer in Test working on Windows. He shipped Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7. Having passion for Mobile devices and development, Ayman joined the Windows Phone team working as a Program Manager in the Developer Platform team. There he owed various aspects of the developer story from diagnostics tools and build to runtime design of Application Model, Networking and Media API. He shipped Windows Phone 7, Windows Phone 7.5 (AKA Mango) and Windows Phone 8 (AKA Apollo). Prior to his career at Microsoft, Ayman worked in an IT Consulting firm in Toronto serving Fortune 500 companies.
