Taysir Shaqalaih holds a master degree in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge University-UK. He brings 18+ years of diversified experience working in project management, Electrical Power Production and Telecommunication industries, Economic Development, Outsourcing, Online Freelancing, youth employment, ICT sector development, entrepreneurship, and academia.
He is currently working as Program Manager at Mercy Corps in Gaza Strip. In his current role, he designed and managed several key projects targeting the development of the ICT sector in Gaza. He also managed several youth employment initiatives including Online Freelancing, Internships, and labor subsidies. He is the master minder of the first ever and most famous youth employment project in Gaza Strip “Online Freelancing”.
He is also co-founder of Inspire IT Solutions, an IT outsourcing company based in Gaza with clients from UK, Germany, Belgium, and Kuwait.
