Dr. Yousef-Awwad Daraghmi is currently an assistant professor at the Computer Systems Engineering Department, Palestine Technical University. He also served as the head of the department from 2016 to 2018. He received his PhD and master degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2014 and 2007, respectively. He received the B.E. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University in 2002. He received the Best Paper Award from the international conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems Telecommunications in 2012. He works on different Erasmus + project including the one accepted in 2016 “Pathway in Forensic Computing”. He served as Technical Program Committee member for the International conference on connected vehicles and expo (ICCVE 2012-2016), international conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems Telecommunications (ITST 2012-2018), international conference on signal processing (ICOSP 2015, 2016), and Asia pacific network operation and management symposium ( APNOMS 2015.2016). He is a reviewer for some highly distinguished journals including IEEE transaction on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE communication magazine and IEEE network magazine. His research focuses on Intelligent Transportation Systems and Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks.
