Hisham Zaid was appointed as the General Manager of Palmedia Media Center in September 2012 joining the company the prior year. Palmedia is one of the largest media production houses and the leading broadcasting service provider in Palestine. As Palmedia’s GM he is entrusted with strengthening the company’s commercial position and managing its wide media operations. Over the past four years, as Deputy GM and then GM, he led the efforts in in expanding the company’s media fiber optic network, satellite services, and production facilities.
Prior to assuming his current positions, Mr. Zaid worked with PalTel Group in various positions since 2008. Between 2008 and 2011, he assumed several roles with the Group’s IT arm, Hulul Business Solutions, including Governance & Strategy Director, Business Development Director, and GM of Hulul International. Mr. Zaid has had more than ten years of professional experience in the telecommunication, IT, and Finance sector where he held several key managerial positions. These included posts at the Palestine Monetary Authority as the IT Division Chief of Policies and Procedures, Mr. Zaid holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
