He was the director of Palestinian Satellite Channel and Palestine television,
He is also one of the founders of Palestine Public Broadcasting Corporation.
His career in journalism started during the 1980’s, he worked an editor-in-chief of El-Shaab newspaper and several other newspapers and magazines. Melhem holds a Master degree in Arabic Literature.
