Mr. Zahi Alawi has been working as a freelance editor for the media company Deutsche Welle since February 2005, He graduated as a political scientist and journalist, from both An Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine, and the University of Dortmund. For the PhD he currently researching Internet Journalism in the Arab World. Since 2005 he has been in charge of the Arabic side of Deutsche Welle’s BOBs (www.thebobs.com – best blogs and social media projects). Since 2005 he has also been researching about Blogging especially in the Arab World and invited to speak at conferences like re:publica, Europe’s most important social media conference. He also gave Online Journalism Training in Egypt, Tunisia, Germany and Palestine.
