Dr. Mohammad Iriqat , is an assistant professor in Intellectual Property Law at al-Quds University. He possesses a PhD in Intellectual Property Law from Sorbonne University, France (2013). He served as the legal advisor to SACEM (French Society of Authors, Composers, and Music Publishers). His duties included advising on the intellectual property law in Arab countries compared to the French law, preparing economic and financial studies, and negotiating contracts with the collecting societies in the Arab world. Recently, he participated in the WIPO-WTO Colloquium for Teachers of IP (Geneva). Prof. Iriqat has participated in many international conferences on Intellectual Property, such as the Harvard Summit 2019 for copyright at Harvard University.
